About Active Workspace
For nearly 20 years, Active Workspace has provided IT
solutions to customers in the hospitality industry. Our ethos has
always been to provide each customer with a system tailored to their
individual requirements, but to remain competitively priced.
The company founder is still involved at grass roots level, along
with a team of dedicated developers, support staff and installation
engineers. In 1990 he designed a snooker club membership system in
response to a request from his local club and the descendant of that
system, MemSecTM, is still key to our product range.
MemSecTM
developed into the comprehensive membership and table light control
system that it is today and led us to develop other related programs
for our customers. Key among these, and now the main focus of the
company's expansion into the wider hospitality market, is the
MemSecTM EPoS Till.
One of the most important factors in Active Workspace's approach to
systems development is the recognition of the types of users our
customers are likely to employ. Unlike in an office environment,
hospitality staff cannot be expected to be computer literate, and
staff turnover levels can be high. We therefore design our programs
to be useable with the minimum amount of training, and by staff of
all ages and abilities.
